On February 20, 2006, we became aware of the plans of an individual in New York City to produce thousands of copies of a flyer, reproduced below, using offensive language to endorse the following websites:
We do not know the individual involved in the creation of this sticker. His plans were made known to us by a third party, to whom we registered protests about the sticker, noting:
- We disapprove of the use of offensive language to promote our websites.
- We disapprove of actions defacing property, such as graffiti promoting our websites.
