Damage to the Pentagon's Surroundings
Proponents of the official story say the jet hit the ground first
to help explain the too-small damage to facade.
However:
- The lawn shows no gouging nor even major disturbance.
- Undisturbed objects were directly in flightpath.

Photographs appear to show an undisturbed lawn right up to the facade.
However, these photographs were taken from several hundred feet
away, resulting in considerable foreshortening of the lawn near
the building.
In the first photo above, the fence in front of the burning truck
appears near the building but is actually about 100 feet away from it.
There is an absence of photos that clearly show the ground near
to the crash zone to prove that there is no gouging near the building.
