It is questionable how comparable any of the pictured crashes
are to the Pentagon being hit by a 757.
These crashes may all have involved parts of the plane skidding
and bouncing rather than impacting surfaces head-on.
These photos suggest that the parts of the planes that do
not survive intact are reduced to confetti.
That's not surprising when one considers that the hulls of
jetliners are less than 2 mm thick.
The F-4 crash study cited on 9-11 Review's
ERROR: Aircraft Crashes Always Leave Large Debris
suggests that the entire plane would be shredded by a perpendicular
impact with a heavy wall.
