WTC Master Plan

Drawings for the 1963 World Trade Center Master Plan

In late 2005, 9-11 Research obtained copies of drawings of the MASTER PLAN for the World Trade Center, dated December 16, 1963, through the generosity of a reader interested in dispelling the mysteries about the construction of the Twin Towers. These drawings provide a detailed view of the plan for the complex at that date.

Click on the thumbnail images below for the full-resolution scans of the images.
The scans can also be browsed using the scan browser

NOTE: The approximately 18-by-24-inch hard copies of the drawings were scanned using a small flatbed scanner in six sections each, and then hand-assembled. This process introduced some errors into the drawings, such as slight discontinuities between the sections.
