South Tower Collapse
Photo of the Leveling of the South Tower from the Northeast
This photograph was taken about four seconds from the start of the drop of the South Tower's top. It shows very clearly the difference in color between the dark clouds of dust from the upper portion of the Tower, and white clouds from the lower portion. It also shows how far the roof was displaced toward the southwest just before being swallowed by the dust cloud -- about 90 feet.
